An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and chairmanship aspirant, Hon. Ganny Dauda, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the people of Ondo State on the celebration of the state’s 50th anniversary.
In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Dauda described the golden jubilee as a significant milestone that reflects the resilience, determination and collective progress of the people of the Sunshine State over the last five decades.
According to him, Ondo State’s journey from its creation to the present day is a testament to the power of unity, hard work and purposeful leadership.
“Fifty years of statehood is a remarkable achievement. From humble beginnings, Ondo State has continued to record progress in critical sectors, showing that with dedication and unity, greater heights are attainable,” he said.
Dauda commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for his leadership and commitment to development, noting that ongoing efforts in infrastructure, education, healthcare and agriculture are already yielding positive results.
He expressed confidence that the governor’s vision and policies would further accelerate growth and improve the welfare of residents across the state.
The APC chieftain also paid tribute to past leaders and stakeholders who played key roles in laying the foundation for the state’s development, describing their contributions as enduring legacies that continue to inspire the present generation.
As Ondo State marks its golden jubilee, Dauda urged citizens and stakeholders to renew their commitment to peace, unity and collective progress.
He wished the government and people of the state a successful and joyous 50th anniversary celebration.
