Tragedy as Bandits Hack Ondo Monarch to Death

Tragedy struck in Ondo State on Wednesday as suspected bandits reportedly hacked a traditional ruler to death in an attempt to abduct him.

The victim, identified as the Alagamo of Agamo in Akure North Local Government Area, Ọba Kẹhinde Falọdun, was said to have been attacked at his residence.

Sources disclosed that the assailants stormed the community with the intention of kidnapping the monarch, but the attempt turned fatal as the royal father was brutally killed during the incident.

Efforts to get official confirmation from the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report, as calls and messages sent had yet to receive a response.
