Five worshippers have been abducted following an attack on a church in Uso community, Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The incident occurred on Tuesday during a church activity when suspected kidnappers reportedly stormed the premises and whisked away the victims.
Uso is located along the busy Akure-Owo highway, an area that has witnessed security concerns in recent times.
Sources within the community disclosed that one of the abducted worshippers managed to escape from the captors shortly after the incident.
However, the whereabouts of the remaining victims remain unknown as of press time.
