The Nigerian gospel music community has been thrown into mourning following the death of renowned gospel artiste, Taiwo Adegbodu, one half of the popular Adegbodu Twins.
The news of his passing surfaced on Sunday after his twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, announced the development in an emotional post shared on social media.
Expressing deep grief over the loss, Kehinde lamented the sudden departure of his brother and ministry partner, describing the loss as devastating and difficult to bear.
Taiwo and Kehinde Adegbodu were widely known in gospel music circles for their energetic worship sessions, coordinated twin-stage performances and impactful ministrations at churches and Christian events across the country.
The duo built a strong following, particularly in the South-West, where their music and live ministrations resonated with many worshippers.
As of press time, the cause of death and details of funeral arrangements had not been made public.
