No fewer than 10 Travellers have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ondo State.
Sunshinetruth News gathered that the travellers were said to be coming from a State in the Southsouth zone heading to Akure at the weekend when the gunmen struck on Owo-Ipele axis of Owo-Benin road.
Confirming the incident, the Ondo State Police Command’s Spokesman, Mrs Funmi Odunlami said only seven persons were kidnapped.
Only last week five farmers were shot dead in Akure north local government area, while the perpetrators are yet to be apprehended.
