A prominent Broadcaster Bisi Ajiboye on Sunday recounted how a sole effort by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan helped to rescue an orphan from dying in the state capital.
Ajiboye popularly known as Sogigun posted on his Facebook page in appreciation to the Chief Press Secretary.
He said, “It’s never been my habit to beg politicians for help, but a situation pushed me into it during this just concluded Ramadan fast. A friend called, saying I should please help one poor beautiful orphan who was abandoned. That friend believed I could help with the one million naira (N1m) needed for the operation of the deteriorated wound she had on her left leg.
“I visited the girl to confirm what my friend sent to me. Getting there, sincerely I wept throughout the day, considering the pains the poor orphan was going through, and because I was incapacitated.
“I had faith and was determined that the problem would be solved without putting the girl through the embarrassment of the media.
I put calls and messages across to some friends, but human beings…
“I quickly sent this message to Ebenezer Adeniyan, CPS to the Governor of Ondo State.👇👇👇👇
“How can we rally around this brave orphan girl (she’s from Àkúrẹ́) through the government? She endured a devastating accident about a year ago, only to be abandoned, and now her wound has severely degenerated. The solution now is amputation, which will require one million naira (N1m) to save her life. Good afternoon, Ọ̀rẹ́”
“His quick response amazed me. Fast forward, the operation was successful last week Tuesday.
