AKURE — The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Women Affairs, Dr Seun Osamaye, has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his decisive victory at the Election Petition Tribunal, describing it as a clear affirmation of the people’s mandate.
In a statement issued in on Thursday, Akure, Dr Osamaye extended her heartfelt congratulations to Governor Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, following the tribunal’s dismissal of multiple petitions challenging the outcome of the November 16, 2024, governorship election.
The opposition parties — including the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP), Action Alliance (AA), Allied Peoples Movement (APM), and African Democratic Congress (ADC) — had filed petitions contesting the legitimacy of the Governor’s victory, all of which were struck out by the tribunal.
“This landmark judgment is not just a legal win; it is a testament to the overwhelming trust and confidence the people of Ondo State have placed in the visionary leadership of Governor Aiyedatiwa,” Dr Osamaye stated.
Highlighting the administration’s achievements, she commended the governor’s dedication to massive infrastructural development and his unwavering commitment to the welfare of women and children within his first 100 days in office.
“I want to congratulate the Governor of our Ease, Odatiwa, Odirorun, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his capable deputy, Dr Olayide Adelami, and the entire APC family on this milestone.
“This victory reinforces the people’s will and sets the tone for sustained development and prosperity in Ondo State,” she added.
Dr Osamaye expressed confidence that the Governor’s leadership will continue to drive inclusive growth and lasting transformation across the state.
