Tinubu Billboards Vandalised in Ondo – Group alleges Sabotage

by Roving

The Ondo State chapter of the Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) has condemned in strong terms what it describes as the “cowardly and malicious” removal of signposts showcasing the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The group alleged that several signposts, strategically installed on streetlights along the Airport Road–Oba-Ile corridor, were forcefully dismantled by unknown persons under the cover of darkness.

“This is more than vandalism; it is an assault on democracy, a slap in the face of free speech, and a deliberate attempt to erase the truth about the progress Nigeria is experiencing under President Tinubu,” GMT’s Director of Media, Oyewamide Ojo, said in a statement.

According to GMT, the perpetrators’ actions will not succeed in erasing the reality of the country’s “positive transformation.”
“They may bring down our structures, but they cannot break our spirit,” the group said, warning those responsible to desist immediately.

The movement called on the Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OSSA), security agencies, and the public to remain vigilant, urging that the culprits be identified, apprehended, and prosecuted.

“These actions are not only criminal but also an insult to the collective aspirations of the Nigerian people,” the statement added.

GMT reaffirmed its resolve to continue defending and promoting President Tinubu’s achievements, vowing not to be intimidated.
