The lawmaker representing Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Constituency in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Akinsuroju Akindolani Nelson, has praised the Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, CP Adebowale Lawal, for the decisive steps taken in the quest for justice over the alleged murder of his constituent, Mr. Isaiah Bademosi.
CP Lawal, during his visit to the Ondo State House of Assembly on Thursday, 4th September 2025, assured lawmakers that the investigation into the case had been concluded and pledged that justice would take its full course.
He confirmed that the suspects would soon be arraigned in court.
Reacting to the CP’s assurance, Hon. Nelson applauded the police for the progress recorded so far, stressing that the case touches on the safety and wellbeing of the people he represents.
“This matter is of utmost importance, not only to the family of the deceased but to my entire constituency,” he stated.
It will be recalled that Hon. Nelson had earlier visited the bereaved family, where he assured them of the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring justice.
His renewed stance, following the police commissioner’s visit, reflects the growing public demand for accountability in cases of violent crime across Ondo State.
With the Commissioner’s statement that investigations have been wrapped up, there is now heightened expectation that the long-awaited trial of the suspects will begin soon—an outcome that could set a precedent for how cases of employer-related violence are handled in the state.
