Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has commended the Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government, Hon. Adebare Adeboye, for his visionary leadership and groundbreaking infrastructural strides.

Akinsuroju, in a statement issued on Thursday, lauded Adeboye for transforming the Council Secretariat with a solar-powered car park that doubles as a mini power plant—describing it as a “bold, innovative response to local infrastructure challenges.”

He noted that the project not only provides shade for vehicles but also generates renewable electricity to power operations within the Council Secretariat, making it a first-of-its-kind initiative in the history of the local government.

“This landmark project enhances productivity within the secretariat and lays a solid foundation for sustainable development,” Akinsuroju stated. “It sets a new benchmark for innovative and people-centered governance at the grassroots level.”

The lawmaker also praised other ongoing projects under Adeboye’s administration, including road rehabilitation, market renovation, and youth empowerment initiatives, which he said reflect responsive leadership that prioritizes the welfare of the people.

He urged residents of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo to continue supporting the local government leadership, emphasizing that collaboration between all tiers of government is key to deepening the dividends of democracy.
