— Says “Ilara-Mokin Must Come First, Even Before Party Lines”

Former Special Assistant on Education to Hon. Festus Akingbaso and 2023 House of Assembly candidate under the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Hon. Lateef Olofinyokun, has openly declared his support for Prince Aderosoye Emmanuel Fadola in the forthcoming House of Representatives election.

In a personally signed statement that has stirred conversations across Ifedore political circles, Olofinyokun said his decision was inspired by deep reflection and a renewed commitment to the unity and progress of his hometown, Ilara-Mokin.

“My life’s mission has always been the progress and development of Ilara-Mokin. There is no place like home, and our internal divisions during political contests have only held us back,” he said.

Olofinyokun noted that his endorsement of Fadola transcends political party boundaries, describing it as a conscious and selfless choice anchored on unity and community advancement.

“After deep reflection, I have reached a decision I believe is crucial for our future. In the upcoming House of Representatives election, I will be offering my full support to Prince Aderosoye Fadola. Ilara-Mokin comes first,” he declared.

The former assembly hopeful urged indigenes to emulate the unity seen in neighboring communities such as Idanre and Igbara-Oke, adding that collective cooperation remains the foundation of political relevance.

He further acknowledged his political mentor, Hon. Festus Akingbaso, for his leadership and support but noted that his current position was guided by conscience and community interest.

“Sir, you have been a tremendous benefactor and a man of dignity. However, at this critical juncture, my conscience tells me Ilara-Mokin must come first,” he said.

Describing Prince Aderosoye Fadola as a compassionate and service-driven individual, Olofinyokun expressed confidence in his capacity to deliver meaningful representation.

“He is a man of the people and a known philanthropist who serves selflessly, even without holding public office,” Olofinyokun added.

He concluded by calling for forgiveness and unity among all sons and daughters of Ilara-Mokin:

“To everyone I may have offended in my political journey, I offer my sincere apologies. Let us unite to build the Ilara-Mokin we all deserve.”

Political observers believe Olofinyokun’s declaration marks a significant boost for the Prince Aderosoye Fadola Movement, which continues to gain traction across Ifedore and Idanre constituencies.
