Akure – The Ondo State chapter of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) on Wednesday announced a major reshuffle of its directorates, aiming to strengthen grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Tinubu and the APC.
Prince Ademola Adegoroye, TSG Ondo Director General and former Minister of State for Transport, revealed the appointments in Akure, naming seasoned politicians and technocrats to key leadership positions.
Among the appointments, Mr. Ajibola Adetula, CEO of AfripointGroup, was named Head of the Directorate of Administration/Secretariat, with Ms. Taiye Ibirogba Afilaka, an accomplished administrator and agribusiness leader, as his deputy.
Hon. Boye Adegbemisoye, former Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government and ex-Commissioner for Public Utilities, was appointed Head of the Directorate of Organisation, while Hon. Bayo Anifowose, former Ese Odo Local Government Chairman and current OSOPADEC board member, serves as Deputy Head.
Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, former Deputy Governor of Ondo State and two-time commissioner, was named Director of the Directorate of Finance.
The Directorate of Welfare and Special Interest will be led by Dr. Yemi Mahmud, a former Commissioner for Women Affairs, with Erelu Modupe Martins as Deputy Director.
For the Directorate of Women Affairs, Dr. Mrs. Omorinola Akinduro-Olanipekun, a long-time political actor and member of the Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria (CIPAN), was appointed Director, with grassroots mobiliser Yeyeoge Olufunlola Oluwadare as Deputy.
The TSG Professionals directorate will be headed by Hon. Idowu Otetubi, a chartered accountant and former commissioner, while legal practitioner Hon. Olatunde Ayemo will serve as his deputy.
Adegoroye also announced the appointment of senatorial coordinators: Chief Foluso Aminu for Ondo North, a former Chief of Staff to the late Governor Adebayo Adefarati; Dr. Kola Ademujimi for Ondo Central, Chief of Staff to Governor Olusegun Mimiko; and Pastor Olusegun Aiyerin for Ondo South, a former top aviation administrator and two-time local government chairman.
According to Adegoroye, the appointments were strategically made to place credible and experienced leaders at the forefront of mobilisation across the state.
He emphasised that the group remains committed to deepening community engagement as more dividends of democracy are delivered to the people, hinting at further appointments in the days ahead.
