First Aquagrico Farms, a family-owned agro-tech company based in the Ondo Highlands, has commenced a major recruitment exercise in Akure, targeting 200 full-time Growers and Junior Agronomists in its first phase of workforce expansion.
The company, which was formally incorporated in 2016 but traces its agricultural heritage to the early 1920s, combines traditional African farming knowledge with modern technology to produce safe, high-quality crops all year round. As part of its ongoing commitment to community development and food security, the farm is significantly increasing its workforce to support its operational growth.
This initial recruitment phase will engage 200 employees, while an additional 300 positions are expected to become available shortly.
