A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and chairmanship hopeful, Hon. Ganny Dauda, has congratulated Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on what he described as one year of purposeful and result-driven leadership.
In a statement issued by his media team, Dauda said the governor’s administration has demonstrated a structured agenda focused on human capital development, community advancement and sustainable growth across the state.
According to him, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s emphasis on practical solutions and policy-driven interventions is repositioning Ondo State for long-term prosperity.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has written his name in the hearts of the good people of Ondo State,” Dauda stated. “His commitment to delivering results and improving lives is commendable. We are optimistic about the future of Ondo State under his leadership.”
The APC chieftain highlighted several achievements recorded within the past year, particularly in infrastructure, healthcare, education and economic development.
He noted that over 190 kilometres of roads have been commissioned or are at advanced stages of completion across the three senatorial districts, citing projects such as the 6km Aiyegunle–Iwaro Oka Road and the Igoba Township Road.
In the health sector, he said 112 primary healthcare centres have either been renovated or newly constructed, alongside the expansion of the Orange Health Insurance Scheme.
He also referenced the commissioning of the Omi Irorun O’Datiwa Water Project and new health centres in Adegbola and Surulere.
On education, Dauda pointed to the construction and renovation of 280 classrooms, perimeter fencing of schools, and the employment of over 2,000 teachers.
He further commended the administration’s economic strides, including the revalidation of the Ondo Deep Sea Port licence and progress on refinery and petrochemical projects.
Describing the governor’s leadership as “a beacon of hope” for the state, Dauda reaffirmed his support for the administration’s vision and pledged continued collaboration to drive development and prosperity in Ondo State.
