An All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Mr. Femi Meshe, has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his first anniversary in office, commending what he described as remarkable developmental strides across the state.
In a statement issued to journalists, Meshe said the governor’s first year has been characterised by purposeful leadership, infrastructural renewal and renewed public confidence in governance.
He noted that the administration has recorded significant progress in road construction and rehabilitation projects spanning the three senatorial districts.
According to him, key urban and rural roads in Akure, Ondo, Owo and other communities have received attention, improving connectivity and boosting economic activities.
The APC stalwart also lauded efforts to strengthen the healthcare system, including the upgrading of primary healthcare centres, recruitment of medical personnel and measures aimed at enhancing service delivery in state-owned health institutions.
On education, Meshe highlighted the renovation of public schools and initiatives to improve workers’ welfare as clear indications of the government’s commitment to human capital development.
He further pointed to interventions in agriculture, such as the distribution of farm inputs, promotion of mechanised farming and policies designed to attract investment into agribusiness and small-scale enterprises.
These, he said, reflect a deliberate strategy to diversify the state’s economy.
“Within one year, Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated administrative capacity, calm leadership and a clear vision for the development of Ondo State. The impact of his policies is being felt across communities,” Meshe stated.
He urged residents of the state to continue supporting the administration, expressing optimism that the coming years would bring further transformation and consolidation of ongoing projects.
Meshe reaffirmed the commitment of the APC to support the governor in delivering sustainable growth, improved infrastructure and expanded economic opportunities for the people of Ondo State.
