An Ondo Born Social media commentator, Jimmy Adekanle Jaf on Friday incurred the wrath of his followers on Facebook for alleging the Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA of issuing unmerited Doctoral Degree to the wife of the former governor, Betty Akeredolu.
Betty Akeredolu had posted on her Instagram page that she had concluded her Doctor of Philosophy, PhD defense.
In her post , Betty said, “PhD defence in action!
Today, 23/8/24, I successfully defended my PhD thesis titled “Comparative Bio-technical Models for the Production of African Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) fingerlings using Solar Powered Recirculating Aquaculture System”. Dr. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu is now official!”
Reacting on his on Facebook page, Adekanle in a post alleged that FUTA issued Akeredolu unmerited Doctoral Degree describing it as an Arrangee PhD.
Adekanle’s post however did not go down well with his followers describing his allegation as a reckless statement.
