Ondo State House of Assembly Member, representing Ileoluji-Okeigbo Constituency Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju on Saturday commended the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board for assisting the less privileged in his constituency.
Akinsuroju stated this at his constituency office in Ileoluji while presenting a Grinding Machine and a Sewing Machine to Azeez Akinsola Yusuf and Muritala Atanda courtesy of the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board.
Roving Reporters reports that, the items were facilitated by the Ondo State Muslim Welfare Board for the vulnerable Islamic faithful, in Ileoluji and the entire constituency.
The lawmaker who described the gesture as commendable urged the board to continue helping the less privileged in the society, especially this time when things are hard for many Nigerians.
The Vice Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs, however appealed to the beneficiaries to make good use of the empowerment tools, so as to boost their economy.
