The Iralepo of Isikan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin-Adimula has maintained that he remains the Monarch of the community, allaying the fears of being removed following the recent Appeal Court judgement.

Oba Olofin- Adimula stated this while addressing chiefs, leaders of market women and other leaders of the community in his Palace.

He also described as untrue that there were plans to take over his Palace or kill him, saying the security agencies were on top of the situation.

The monarch pointed out that no court judgment had demoted or removed the stool of Iralepo of Isikan, saying that his stool remained intact.

According to Oba Olofin- Adimula, the Ondo State government which has prerogative rights over Chieftaincy matters had issues a white paper which has recognized Iralepo stool.

The Iralepo of Isikan described the selection process which led to his appointment and presentation of his staff of office by the State government as legitimate.

Oba Olofin- Adimula who urged Isikan people to be law-abiding said the community had approached the supreme Court to set aside the appeal Court judgment, describing it as injustice.
