Akure – The management of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Teaching Hospital has disowned a recruitment advertisement circulating on social media, describing it as completely false and malicious.
The fake notice, which claims that the hospital contracted a service known as MY PARCEL DELIVERY to conduct job recruitment, has been dismissed as a fraudulent attempt to exploit the institution’s name and reputation.
In a statement issued to the public, the management stressed that it has not authorized or engaged any person, agency, or platform to advertise job vacancies on its behalf.
It described the claim by the unidentified promoter as a deliberate effort to mislead the public and tarnish the hospital’s noble image.
FUTA Teaching Hospital reaffirmed its commitment to transparent and credible recruitment procedures, assuring that all legitimate employment opportunities will be announced through official and recognized channels at the appropriate time.
The statement advised job seekers and members of the public to disregard all unauthorized recruitment claims and avoid dealing with fraudulent individuals or organizations posing as representatives of the hospital.
