Men of the Lagos state police command have arrested two suspects for allegedly being in possession of a toy pistol.
The police public relations officer, Benjamin Hudeyin made this known on his official X platform on Saturday.
He said, “Kyari Idris aged 20 and Abubakar Salisu aged 18 were found with a toy pistol under the seat of their motorcycle by police officers on stop-and-search duty by Agege Railway Police Station.
“ The duo then resisted arrest, prompting the officers to call for backup.
“ Investigation is ongoing.”
He also tweeted a section of the law to back the arrest.
