The spotlight shone brightly on TVC News’ ace journalist, Ayodeji Moradeyo, as he clinched the prestigious Hero’s Magazine Media Man of the Year 2025 Award, cementing his place among the nation’s most celebrated media icons.

The glitzy ceremony, held at the International Culture and Events Center (The Dome), Akure, witnessed a parade of royalty, government officials, captains of industry, and cultural giants who gathered to applaud excellence and service to humanity.

Moradeyo, who has spent over two decades shaping narratives and holding power to account, stood tall as one of the nine distinguished awardees at the festival-like event.

The gathering was chaired by statesman and monarch, Oba Olu Falae, the Olu of Ilu Abo and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, who lamented how society often fails to value its heroes.

“We must honor those who dedicate their lives to nation-building before it is too late,” he declared to thunderous applause.

Representing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Fasoranti, congratulated the honorees and reassured that the administration remains committed to human capital growth while pledging renewed vigor in tackling insecurity.

Moradeyo’s rise in journalism has been nothing short of inspirational. From his humble beginnings as a Galaxy Television correspondent in Ogun State in 2003, to his foray into print journalism with National Mirror and other leading publications, his career reflects resilience and dedication.

For the past 14 years, he has been a towering force at TVC Communications, where his voice and pen have become synonymous with credibility and truth.

Other major honorees included Mr. Femi Meshe, MD/CEO of Atlas Energy Limited, who emerged Ondo State Man of the Year 2025, alongside other trailblazers across education, entrepreneurship, and community development.

The Dome glittered with dignitaries including the Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye; the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi; Ondo State Attorney General, Dr. Kayode Ajulo; and philanthropist, Dr. Tolulola Bayode, among others.

For Moradeyo, the Media Man of the Year title is not just an award—it is a resounding recognition of his unrelenting pursuit of truth, courage, and excellence in journalism.
