41 Years After Marriage, 13-Year Pregnancy, Pastor, Wife Welcome Miracle Twins

It was jubilation galore in Lagos as Pastor and Evangelist Mrs. Dele Ajibola of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Purity and Power Zone, welcomed twin baby boys after 41 years of marriage and what many described as a miraculous 13-year pregnancy.

Family, friends, and ministers of the gospel gathered for the naming ceremony, which was nothing short of a festival of faith and gratitude.

The christening, conducted by the Superintendent of CAC Pearce Region, Pastor S.O. Aluko, was filled with emotion and awe. Pastor Aluko described the couple as “the Zechariah and Elizabeth of our time,” saying their testimony reaffirmed that God’s power remains timeless.

The twins were named Taiwo Ayoigbala Signs Purity and Kehinde Onaara Oluwapamilerin Power, reflecting the name and mission of their church zone.

Delivering a message from Psalm 136, the Director of Administration, CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Tope Dada, called the event “a miracle of the millennium.” He added humorously, “It’s called menopause, not menostop—God restarted what science had stopped!”

Pastor Dada commended the couple for their unwavering faith and reminded the congregation that God’s promises never fail. He also advised the new parents to raise the children in godly discipline and not to overpamper them.

In an emotional testimony, Pastor Ajibola recalled moments of deep discouragement during the 41-year wait. “I once told my wife, ‘I didn’t accept Jesus so He could give me children, but so I can make heaven.’ Yet, in His mercy, God decided to surprise us,” he said tearfully.

Evangelist Mrs. Ajibola narrated how the 13-year pregnancy journey began in 2012, filled with repeated disappointments and miraculous twists. “There were times scans showed a baby, and later, nothing was found. I even asked God to give me another calling because people mocked me as a midwife who couldn’t bear a child. But He told me to wait. Today, He has given me double for my years of reproach,” she recounted joyfully.

Among dignitaries in attendance were retired Pastor Michael Adebayo Adeoye; Superintendent, CAC Pearce Region, Pastor and Mrs. S.O. Aluko; Director of Administration, Pastor and Mrs. Tope Dada; Superintendent, CAC Yaba DCC, Pastor S.E.A. Oludare; and several other ministers.

The atmosphere was charged with songs of praise, tears of joy, and shouts of “Hallelujah” as the couple’s testimony reminded all present that truly, “what God cannot do does not exist.”
