The Ariya Eko 2025 Awards in Lagos took on a spiritual and cultural dimension as the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Guitar Choir and MFM Highlife Band graced the stage, using music as a tool for evangelism while joining the celebration of Nigeria’s legendary artistes.
The event, which celebrated evergreen songs and honoured icons of Nigerian popular music, was held in Lagos with the presence of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who not only endorsed the renditions by the MFM groups but also joined in photo sessions with them.

In their message of appreciation, the MFM music ministry expressed gratitude to the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, for the opportunity to minister, and to Governor Sanwo-Olu for his warm reception.
They also commended cultural advocate, Sister Bimbo Esho, for her dedication and hard work in ensuring the success of the programme.

The groups further celebrated Nigeria’s music legends for their enduring impact on the nation’s cultural heritage, noting that their works continue to provide deeper insights into the history and growth of Nigerian popular music.
The Ariya Eko 2025 Awards formed part of activities showcasing Lagos as a hub of music, culture, and national pride.
