As Ondo State marks its 50th anniversary, Engineer Tomiwa Aregbesola has extended warm congratulations to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the people of the Sunshine State, describing the Golden Jubilee as a moment of deep reflection, gratitude and renewed commitment to the future.
In a congratulatory message commemorating the historic milestone, Aregbesola paid glowing tribute to the founding fathers of Ondo State, visionary leaders, patriots and trailblazers whose sacrifices, courage and foresight laid the foundation for the state’s existence and progress.

He commended the Ayedatiwa administration for re-engineering the state’s financial architecture, strengthening government’s balance sheet and restoring fiscal discipline.
He further highlighted ongoing efforts to lay the foundation for a sustainable economic base through strategic engagement with transformative projects, including the deep-sea port initiative, refinery and petrochemical development, and the revamp of the state’s industrial assets, which he described as signals of a future-focused economy anchored on productivity and value creation.
