The Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President 2027 (BTO4PBAT27) support group has concluded the first phase of its ward tour across seven local government areas of Ondo State, marking a significant step in its grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The tour covered Okitipupa, Ese-Odo, Irele, Ondo East, Owo, Akoko North East and Ondo West local government areas, where party leaders and stakeholders engaged residents on strengthening participation in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and sustaining support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
A major highlight of the exercise was the donation of mobilisation funds to each of the visited local governments to boost grassroots activities, encourage new party registrations and intensify awareness on voter enrolment ahead of future elections.
The first phase of the tour ended in Ondo West Local Government Area, where party members and supporters reaffirmed their readiness to back President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, expressing confidence in his leadership and ongoing reforms.
Organisers reiterated that the BTO4PBAT27 support group is sponsored by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, noting that his commitment to grassroots political development and party strengthening has continued to attract commendation from stakeholders.
Speaking during the tour, the Director-General of the group, Ogbeni Adesuyi Adojutelegan, said Ondo State stands to gain increased infrastructural and socio-economic development if President Tinubu secures a second term.
He urged party members to remain united and intensify mobilisation at ward and polling unit levels.
The group’s Publicity Secretary thanked residents of the seven local governments for their warm reception and continued support, while disclosing that the second phase of the ward tour would commence soon as the group extends its outreach to more communities across the state.
According to the group, the ward tour is part of a broader strategy to strengthen party structures, promote civic participation and consolidate grassroots support for the APC.
